Display Advertising
This website may display advertising served by Google AdSense. Adverts are visually separated from editorial content and are never presented as if they were our own recommendation. We earn a small amount of revenue when visitors view or interact with these adverts.
Display advertising has not yet been fully configured on this site. This disclosure is published in advance of that happening, so the position is clear from day one.
No Paid Reviews or Placements
Enlighten Me does not publish paid reviews, sponsored articles, or paid placements for specific tradespeople, contractors, products or brands. Every recommendation, whether about a category of work, a registration body, or a general product type, is included because we judge it genuinely useful to readers, not because anyone paid for it to appear.
Trade and Supplier Mentions
General references to trade bodies, qualifications or product categories in our guides are chosen editorially and are not for sale, though we are always glad to hear suggestions via our Contact page.
Affiliate Links
Enlighten Me does not currently use affiliate links. If we introduce them in future, any affiliate relationship will be clearly disclosed at the point it appears, in line with UK Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) requirements and applicable consumer protection law.
